Marshall Amplification - British company producing musical audio amplifiers and speakers, founded by Jim Marshall in 1962. Company History

Jim Marshall in 1960 opened a shop selling musical instruments. In 1962 it was decided to collect amplifiers with their hands, and the first prototype 50-watt amplifier was ready by September 1962.
