The company Bluboo formally introduced a new smartphone S8. The main feature of the novelty was the almost frameless display from Sharp with the aspect ratio of 18: 9. The device has an eight-core processor from MediaTek, 3 GB of RAM, a built-in 32 GB storage with support for microSD cards up to 256 GB and a dual camera with Sony sensors. And for all this the manufacturer asks for only $ 149.99. We also have information that at the pre-order stage the company will conduct various actions for the fans.
Bluboo S8 primarily attracts attention with its appearance. 5.7-inch display with thin frames around the perimeter and the ratio of the sides of 18: 9 is still very rare, so the attention of the owner surrounding such a device will be ensured. The screen occupies 83% of the entire front side and has rounded corners. The back cover has an unusual treatment, due to which the effect is achieved, as if rays of light diverge from the center. The smartphone is available in black, gold and blue colors.
Another feature of the Bluboo S8 is the dual camera, which is represented by two Sony sensors with a resolution of 13 (interpolation up to 16 Mp) and 3 Mp. The second module serves to measure the distance to the object and blur the background, thereby allowing you to take photos with the effect of bokeh. The resolution of the front camera is 5 Mp with interpolation up to 8 Mp.
Inside the Bluboo S8 there is an eight-core processor MediaTek MT6750T with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, graphics accelerator Mali-T860 MP2, 3 GB of RAM and a built-in 32 GB storage with support for microSD memory cards up to 256 GB.
For the autonomy of the new items is a battery with a capacity of 3 450 mAh. The device also supports fast charging technology. Charge replenishment is carried out through a symmetrical USB Type-C connector, which allows you to connect the cable to either side.
Bluboo S8 runs under the operating system Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone comes with preinstalled software from 360 Safety. The latter serves to protect the user from malicious applications and control the security of the device.
Receiving pre-orders on the Bluboo S8 will start on August 1.
